Today is the day after Thanksgiving. During our wonderful meal we went around the table telling each other what we were thankful for. The obvious is usually family and friends. I always say that when feeling overwhelmed we should be grateful for whatever the present situation is because life could be so much worse. It's kind of a positive
negative thought but I do find it helps. There is always someone who is in a tougher position then you.
Red has finished his radiation treatments and is doing well but I am worried because
at his last follow up visit the Dr said he felt a thickening at the site of the surgery. He measured it and at the next visit will see if it has changed. If it stays the same it is likely scar tissue but if it has gotten larger the tumor could be coming back. We see him on Tuesday so please continue those healing thoughts and positive energy for him. .
Red's favorite position is on the top of the couch just draped on the edge. I needed an idea for a painting challenge where the theme is Xmas so he became the subject of my latest painting. I put him on boxes under the tree staring at a gold reindeer. Presents are all around them along with a Poinsettia and other goodies.
Still a work in progress. It will be available in my Etsy shop soon.
